When you are installing a new convertible top, inspect the tacking strip of the front of bow, rear bow and rear tack rail. Usually the original treated paper material is rotted away and won’t hold tack or screw. Our modern replacement material is made of a hard, flexible rubber which can be sanded or filed to shape and will retain screw, tack and staples, it will last virtually forever. Two sizes are available.

Type F is usually on the front, type R on the rear. Specify type F or R when ordering
